This is the worse of the all tomb raider series. the talking and choosing it was seriously annoying because I am lazy and I just want to hear and see the story without touch the control. I hate the no pistol and no unlimited. The worst part was, the grabbing meter. i have to make decision fast before i fall and i take lots of time thinking what to do next. the graphic got little smoother but is was such an waste of time to play this. She get stronger was bad idea. it makes it harder and i hate too hard game. the storyline was bad. you sould never ever buy this game at all. i rather get chronicles. If you buy pc version then it come with the level editor. AOD comes with nothing at all.

I hate this game.. It's graphic was a redo getting away from TRLE. That was some stuff that did. the storyline was good because it was a kind of RPG. But the weapons, characters, and the game itself is just bad. I rate this 2/10

This Tomb Raider game was really great. It had a great story line that went on and you never forgot what you were looking for. And why you were playing. There were diffrent controls in this game and it was a little hard to move around though. There were alot of glitches in this tomb raider game. I liked the idea of letting her fight with her hands. But She never got her pistols at any part of the game. The outfits she used were very cool and her gear was great too. She got lots of upgrades during the game whitch was very cool. It had a new person to be whitch was kurtis. But he was the hardest to move I didn't injoy playing as him. My favorite part was talking to people. I liked how I could make the game go my way. So out of all of this I would rate it 10/8

I thought The Angel of Darkness was pretty good. It had a story line I loved and I loved how you could play a different character. The controls were horrible, but once you get used to it, they were alright. The levels were well set out and were a good challenge. I think that the amount of bugs on this game were ridiculous. I think The Angel of Darkness really wasn't ready when it got released. Overall, I give this game a 8/10. There could have been less bugs, but I loved the storyline.

I really enjoyed this game even though there were alot of bugs in it and mixed reviews. The storyline was really good and the costumes were ok. Also how you got to pick what you say was awesome. The things I didn't like were when you had to strengthen up Lara and the grip bar. I am very glad that these features have not come back. The controls were very annoying and I hated how it made me die all the time. Core and Eidos could have waited until after Tomb raider the Cradle of Life came out to release it. It would still be close after the release date of the movie and the game wouldn't have as much bugs. But overall I find this game fun and exciting. I give it an 8 out of 10.

Angel of Darkness. According to others, it was a game that should have stayed in the dark. Unlike those people, I personally found AOD to be quite enjoyable. Of course there were some down sides to this game.

Bugs: In this game, there were too many bugs to count, such as random slow-downs, freeze-ups, textures missing, sound files missing, just to name a few. This really dragged down on the games' over-all playability.

Storyline: The storyline of AoD was "ok", but it really could have been better. We have to remember where Lara Croft comes from; it's not Lara Croft: Parisian Ghetto Raider, it's Lara Croft: Tomb Raider! There were far too many areas in the game that really aren't Lara Croft: Tomb Raider material.

Graphics: The graphics in AoD were superb compared to its counter-parts in 1-5. The new Lara looked great! She reacts with her surroundings more realisticly now; she moves like a real person! Not to mention her newly aquired "jiggle dynamics"! ;)

image
Just look at the new Lara! And the new srroundings! No more 2d-looking areas! And the flames and water effects in this game were stunning!

Features and Characters: We were introduced to a new feature in Tomb Raider history in this game; the Grip Strength bar! This showed the player how much longer Lara could hold on to a certain surface, such as ladders, monkey bars, and ledges. In order to get to that spot you could almost reach before your strength bar ran out, you had to find strength upgrades in that certain level, like pushing heavy objects, pulling levers, or jumping accross wide-set gaps.

To add more excitment to the game, Core Design added in another playable character - Kurtis Trent

Kurtis Trent was another playable character who had preety much the same game-play abilities as Lara did. His strenth bar however cannot be increased. He is playable in 3 levels of the game (three of which I won't say so I don't ruin it for you!).

Enemies: The enemies have gotten smarter, and stronger this time around. There are new ones for you to face and some old ones you can kill again! From guards, to skelatons, you battle them all!

That pretty much covers the basics of this game! For those of you how havent played this game yet, perhaps this will help you get of the fence of deciding whether you should or not! Happy raiding!

WHY I HATED THE GAME: I really hated this game because of all the mistakes Core put in it, and the people were to easy to kill and most of all on the ps2 version you cant get 2 guns in her hands, if you know how please tell me.

WHY I LIKE IT: I really liked it because Lara looked diffrent her clothes and everything was good, she can fight but you couldn't use her fighting skills because you always had tons of ammo left and I really wanted to fight someone with a challenge.

Tomb Raider the angle of darkness was an excellent game in its own way. Lara looks much better now and you can now play more than 1 character. Basically this game is about Lara trying to free herself from a murder she didn't do but soon to find out that it was just free herself would only solve half of her problem. The cabal is a fearful group who ends up wanting to wake the sleeper and destroy the world now it's up tolara to deafeat it. This story had a great plot but this game had some serious problems with bugs many of them ar ein these game but can easily be fixed and but sometimes this game will crash on you. The movement of lara is horrible. She moves like a cement truck and so does kurtis trent but worse. You do have to save a lot in this game because you will die a lot if you don't like a game where you constantly have to save because you will end up dying then this is not the game for you. After hours and hours of suffering through the controls it gets a bit easier after that but all in all a great plot and a game that deserves a chance

This game was good. It had a great story, but to be honest it wasn't a Tomb Raider game. I know Core design want to try something new but i think they should of thought about it a little bit longer. They could of did so much with this game being that it was on PS2 and not PS1. They could of had better graphics. I like the game but to say it again it wasn't a Tomb Raider Game. Who Agrees With Me?

I think this game is quite good, but not for Tomb Raider, this game dosen't deserves to be called Tomb Raider : Angel of Darkness. Just Angel of Darkness. I did enjoy this game but not as Classics. So i am giving this game 7!

At first it seems that Core really have had quite a rethink here. New look, new controls, new moves- it's all quite spectacular. But most players soon feel that it just isn't going to work. Firstly there's the controls, which are sloppy to say the least. After ages you do admittedly get the hang of them, but by then your at the end of the game. The plot is pretty good, but full of gaps (which may never be filled in now that Crystal Dynamics have taken over). And I'm not going to get started on the weapons, all of which are a fancy form of pistol, the only real savior being the K2 Impactor, which gets taken off you without any reasoning halfway through the game. I really never thought I'd have said it, but a few more months on this game really wouldn't have gone amiss.
